dr robin friedman

Dr Friedman was born in Johannesburg and lives in Northcliff with his family.

He qualified at the University of the Witwatersrand in 2006, completing his community service and internship before starting his specialisation in Urology. He did many rotations between the  different hospitals gaining invaluable experience. Dr Friedman still maintains a strong bond and love for Baragwanath Hospital and continues to work there to this day as a Consultant Urologist. This keeps him in touch with the latest academic developments and allows him to use his skills to assist those with the greatest need.

He began working at Netcare Mulbarton Hospital in 2014 where he continues to run his practice.

Dr. Friedman has appeared in numerous magazine and radio articles relating to his interest in mens health, as well as being involved in many community initiatives. Other interests include urologic oncology, voiding dysfunction, stone disease and sexual health.

Dr Friedman's kind and attentive attitude combined with a calm consulting environment has endeared him to many of his patients and their families.

Front of Office

Samantha is the first face you will see as you arrive in the rooms. She is always friendly, smiling and willing to assist with any issues raised. Samantha manages the bookings and front desk admin while you are under Dr. Friedman's care.

She is an asset to the practice and her friendly, professional nature are testament to her passion for her job.

When Samantha is off duty, she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, the apples of her eye.
